More Books Coming

I’m lucky to now be fully vaccinated; I hope you will be able to get there soon, and we can slowly get back to playing games in person. Meanwhile, maybe study some more go books? Go Books has a few for you to choose from (more than 150, actually). And I'm excited about upcoming books, including one slated for release in mid June, and others in preparation.

Featured Books

Go Books recently added two volumes by Rob van Zeijst analyzing the Ten-Game match between Gu Li and Lee Sedol, as well as the newest book by Richard Hunter. In older books, Iwamoto Kaoru’s "Invasions" and "Reductions" will give you a lot of practical ideas on how to deal with typical positions in your games, whether you’re invading, reducing, or defending territory.

You can read a free chapter of each book to see whether the book might be for you, either in the app, or by downloading an ePub sample. Please see the complete list of over 150 books at: https://gobooks.com

Kickstarter by Go Book Author

Jonathan Hop, author of the “So You Want to Play Go?” series, is starting a Kickstarter for his new creative venture, “Journey to the Middle Kingdom”. The story is about three American teenagers who are sent to a world of Chinese mythology and fairy tales to save the past. The Kickstarter is slated for around June 2021 – sign up to get notified when it launches.
